Vincent Van Gogh, Space Junk: Curatorial description

Vincent Van Gogh, Space Junk envisions Van Gogh drifting through a world he never knew—lost among the debris of a civilization obsessed with progress, yet drowning in its own excess. In this piece, he becomes a relic floating in a sea of discarded technology, forgotten satellites, and digital noise. Just as his genius was overlooked in his time, his presence here is both haunting and poetic—an artist untethered, searching for meaning in the wreckage of the modern world.

This painting is part of my crazy Van Gogh portrait series, where I reinterpret his essence in a contemporary, street art style. Other works in this collection include "Vincent Van Gogh, Skull", exploring the fragility of existence, "Vincent Van Gogh, Encrypted", where his identity is fragmented in the digital age, and "Vincent Van Gogh, Laser Eyes", capturing his transformation into an electrified presence shaped by modern technology.

This original painting is available for purchase and ships worldwide.

You Love It or Hate It

It’s quite amusing to see every guest who comes to the house stop in front of the painting for a while, trying to decipher what’s happening before their eyes. Haha, Diego’s raw technique is something that forces you to either love or hate his work, and I absolutely love that. Tirigall is not for people who are comfortable in the gray!

Commissions FAQ

The Commission Experience

1. How can I commission a custom artwork?

The process is simple: you send me a message with your idea, we discuss details and references, I create an initial sketch, and once approved, I begin the artwork. When it's ready, I'll send it to you carefully packaged. You can see the detailed process in the "How It Works" section.

2. Do I need to have a clear idea of what I want?

Not necessarily. You can give me a general reference, a feeling you want to convey, colors you like, or even just a keyword. I'll take care of turning it into a unique piece within my style.

3. Can I request a replica of one of your previous works?
I don't make exact copies, but I can create a new work inspired by a previous piece, maintaining the essence but with variations that make it unique.
4. How long does the creation process take?
It depends on the size and complexity of the work. Normally, between 1 and 2 months. This can vary depending on complexity, changes, revisions, etc.
5. Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, I ship worldwide. Delivery times vary between 4 and 8 business days depending on location. The artwork is packaged with high-protection materials to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

6. How is payment made?

Payment is made in two parts:

  • 50% when starting the commission to reserve your artwork.
  • 50% upon completion of the piece, before shipping. I accept payments through PayPal, bank transfer, and other methods based on availability.
7. Can I return an artwork if I don't like the result?

Since it is a custom artwork, returns are not accepted. However, I make sure you are satisfied at each phase of the process, allowing you to provide feedback before finalizing the piece.

8. Do you create large format works for specific spaces?

Yes, I can work in large formats for spaces such as living rooms, offices, or commercial venues. If you have a specific space in mind, we can discuss dimensions and composition.

9. Can I see progress during the process?

Yes, I will send you updates at different stages so you can see how the artwork evolves and give your opinion before the final details.

10. Do you offer framing?

For now, all artworks are shipped unframed to facilitate transport and allow you to choose the frame that best suits your space. If you need a recommendation, I can guide you on which options work best.
