About “Donald Trampa”

The Painting

Politics is not a subject I prefer to dabble in, but I gave into temptation and made an exception with this painting.

I rarely have a subject in mind before painting my artwork.  I like to paint how I feel at the moment and let the brushes do the work.  Other times I prefer to get mentally involved in my canvas artwork. Overall, I'm more into cool art for sale, so having a subject in mind before painting is rare.  I knew I wanted to make a Donald Trump portrait before I painted it.

Hero or villain?

This modern artwork for sale focuses on the Spanish word trampa (meaning trap in English) and the current President of the United States' name.

When I was making the original acrylic painting some themes associated with Donald Trump are dollars, Moscow, Melania Trump, CNN, FBI, Russian hacking, Hillary Clinton, and so on.

This painting is a portrait mixed with contemporary art themes.  I created the painting using oil pastel, spray paint, acrylic marker, and acrylic paint.  I infused pop street art style with blue, red, and yellow.

How will Donald Trump be viewed after finishing his presidency?  Will he be a hero or villain?
