Here’s a little glimpse into how I think when work Here’s a little glimpse into how I think when working with overlapping layers. It’s all small stuff: what to cover, what to leave visible, where to cut a shape, how much to mess it up… but these micro-decisions make all the difference when working with something as difficult as expressionist painting. 🎨
Special thanks to my expert 5-year-old cameraman 🎥
Would you like to see more of this side of the process?

Agradecimiento especial a mi camarógrafo experto de 5 años 🎥

Working on these two commissioned works with the s Working on these two commissioned works with the same search in mind: less is more. I’m exploring deep textures and details, but placing them in a fog... mirroring the mental fog that’s been clouding my head lately. 🤣
EN I’m working on a very special commission, becau EN
I’m working on a very special commission, because I’m exploring a palette that’s not usual for me.
Almost colorless, close to black and white, but not quite.
These are just the first layers—everything you see now will disappear.
For the one who commissioned it, it will be there.
For everyone else, it will only raise questions.

🇺🇸 We are living in a time of growing radicalizati 🇺🇸 We are living in a time of growing radicalization.
Politics is increasingly discussed like football teams: left or right, with no room for nuance or critical thinking.
As if thinking meant aligning and repeating, rather than analyzing each situation in its own complexity.
This trilogy — The State, The Entrepreneur, and The Man of Jante — presents three sides of the same coin.
It is a commissioned body of work conceived by someone who was not looking to decorate, but to think and encourage reflection.
Each of these paintings is built through multiple layers of meaning.
There are symbols, references, and visual decisions in constant dialogue, and it would be impossible to address them all in a single post.
For that reason, they will be unfolded gradually.
One of those layers is the language of tarot.
Not as fortune-telling, but as a symbolic framework.
Tarot allows complex systems — power, fear, ambition, order, chaos — to be condensed into a single image.
In this trilogy, that language shapes the environment in which each scene unfolds.
Each painting functions like a card, offering a space for interpretation rather than a fixed message.
This work does not provide answers.
It opens questions.
And the trilogy will be completed very soon.
