About the Artwork
Mind-Set, the 39-inch x 39-inch square artwork, combines several materials and methods to form an original Urban Style Art piece. The artwork is an exercise about my mental state at the time of painting this. I tried not to think too much about my 🤪 mental state, but rather reflect on my thoughts and state of mind in a basic manner.
The Meaning
There is a screaming face resembling a skull in the center of the artwork and several words scattered around the face. The word 'immortality' is repeated four times, and only the first three letters show up in the fifth row. The word 'insane' is in red letters with dramatic effect. Belief, attitude, action, and results are grouped in systematic order, which is the basic mindset needed to succeed. Additional words like love, "rango de percepcion", and "complete segun corresponda" are visible in the painting.
The Materials
The dark background on the canvas is due to the prominent black shade, which makes the face stand out. Blue is a secondary dark shade, aiding in the dark theme. Light colors like pink, yellow, white, and red are tertiary shades.
